Supporting St James Primary School Target £30k, the ‘Decades of Hair’ event on 19th October 2012, was a massive success, with champagne flowing & delicious cupcakes enjoyed by all, even the bad weather failed to dampen the community’s spirits.

The salon displayed fantastic memorabilia from the 40’s to the 80’s with collages over the mirrors, while the children of St James Primary School created wonderful pictures of hairstyles to decorate the front window. The salon buzzed with clients all afternoon and into the evening, which was hosted by the 5 stylists looking stunning in their retro outfits & hairstyles.

The raffle raised £1,255 with amazing prize contributions of health, beauty, sports and leisure, food & home services. Michelle, the owner of Michelle Renée said: “I am overwhelmed by the support of the local community and would like to extend a huge thank you to all the local businesses, friends and family but most of all I am very proud of the team at Michelle Renée & for the staggering amount raised for St James Primary School.”
